Nonya Chang revisited…(Part I) – This post list out the general background information of Chang or Dumpling festival.

Nonya Chang revisited…(Part II) （娘惹粽） – A comprehensive recipe for Nonya Chang. It is a long and detail post .

Sambal Haebeehiam Glutinous Rice Dumpling aka Chilli Dried Shrimp Floss Dumpling (辣虾米鬆粽子） – This is a halal dumplings and the deliciousness will very much depend on the quality of your shrimp floss. It is slightly sweet and spicy.

Savoury Rice Dumpling (Bak Chang) (咸肉粽）– This is the local version of the so called Kiam Bak Chang. Unlike Nonya Chang which is sweet, this bak Chang is savoury with salted eggs etc..

Cantonese Style Mung Bean Rice Dumplings (粤式绿豆咸肉粽） – I was surprised that this recipe is rather popular among Singaporean and Malaysian. It is a new recipe and the mung bean provide a unique experience in savouring the dumpling. This recipe call for the use of roast pork and after preparing another batch using raw marinated pork, I personally prefer this recipe  that uses roast pork aka sio bak which is very aromatic and tender. The whole dumpling has the aroma of roast pork. So i will recommend to use roast pork instead.

Teochew aka Chaozhou Sweet And Savoury Dumplings (潮汕双拼肉粽）– The characteristics of this dumpling is the meat are cut smaller and that there is a sweet filling

Rendang Ayam Nasi Kunyit Dumplings (仁当鸡肉粽） – A new recipe shared in 2016 for those who are looking for a fusion dumpling. It can be easily changed to a halal dumpling such that Muslim also can enjoy it.

Taiwan Style Steamed Meat Dumpling With Garlic Sauce (台湾北部蒸肉粽） – A new recipe shared in 2016 . This is the Taiwanese style of steamed dumpling and half of the glutinous rice is substituted with white rice. It aids in digestion and full of fibre from the nuts. It comes with a special sauce which is not very common in the region.

Alkaline Dumpling, Kansui Dumpling (碱水粽）– Traditional uses lye ball and if you are looking for the recipe using lye water, it is in the post below.

Lye Water Dumplings With Red Bean Paste (豆沙碱粽） – This recipe used lye water instead of alkaline ball. In addition, it also include the red bean paste to sweeten the dumplings

Red Bean Alkaline Dumplings (红豆碱水粽） – This is a new recipe and personal I loved this recipe very much. Those who never wanted to eat the traditional alkaline dumpling find that this is delicious possibly because of the red bean..

Vegetarian Nonya Rice Dumpling (娘惹素粽） – This vegetarian dumpling is of nonya style that uses no mock meat..

Traditional Sesame Mung Bean Cake (古早味麻油绿豆糕） – During Dumpling festivals, beside eating dumplings, Chinese in the Northern hemisphere have a ritual of eating this mung bean cake to detoxify the body.
